This is what I may call a very intriguing release. Andreas Scholl, usually connected with barroque singing, is here at the hight of his vocal expertise. he drowned on late medieval music and he is doing it very well. Absolutely amazing singing (both on counter-tenor and/or beritone), sorrounded by very expert musicians (including his vocal partner and harp player Kathleen Diineen). All contribute to a very exquisite and absolutely unexpected CD, very well recorded, and graphically perfect. I received the CD the day after my order, it arrived on excellent conditions (still sealed, so it was a NEW copy), and I have beed hearing this CD every day sisnce it arrived. So thank you very much for providing me this unexpected treasure by the unpredictable, and great singer Andreas Scholl. Ah! I should say that both soprano and harp player Kathleed Dineen and lute player Crawford Young belonged to The Ferrara Ensemble, that it's over now, but of which I miss very much !!
