this book 3 in the royal house of shadows series and i have to say the worst so far. I have never read anything by Jessica Andersen before so i cant say if this is her regular standard of writing or not.
The grounds for the story started off so good i was quit intrigued to see how it was going to play out. but from then on the story got so predictable and i had to force myself to finish.
I found it hard to believe Reda went from a weak and insecure cop to being a heroic warrior within the space of a day. She also saves Dayn a few times he is meant to be a strong alpha type male and he come across as just plain useless. It lacked humor, sizzling romance and a deep connection between the main characters that grips you and makes you really care what happens between them.
i really wanted to like this book as i loved Gena showalters lord of the vampires and Jill Monroe lord of rage. I will be buying lord of the Abyss by Nalini Singh i haven't read anything by her yet but i have my fingers and toes cross.
