Having ordered both together the second book was worst than the first.
Perhaps I've been spoilt by Christine Feehan and Marly Chance plus other authors where sex plays a strong part but this author can't even be original.
Her plot is thin the characters are boring and basically the book is a mirror image of Wolfs Tale 1 except she has added a few characters and the originals has just changed their story lines.
I don't think in all my years of reading have I read such a load of drivel and I've certainly picked a few.
The sort of graphic sex she describes can be more or less found in "Black Lace" and a hell of a lot cheaper.
I would rate this as a zero if Amazon had this as part of the scoring.

If you like your love stories to be hot and steamy, with a dash of fantasy, in that these are shape shifting people you will love these stories. Definately for adults only The characters are loveable and you anticipate the next one's story. kate Douglas draws you into the story line and makes you care for the members of the pack.

Another erotic, romantic installment in the Wolf Tales series

Tia Mason lost her mother at the young age due to an accidental shooting. Her father never told her about her Chanku heritage -- until now. Luc Stone's no longer the young, troubled police officer he was when he first met Tia's father and learned about his own Chanku heritage. He's a grown man, a leader in the pack, and he's ready to claim what's his. Their attraction instant; their sensual discovery sizzling. But there are secrets yet to be discovered, and when her father's life is threatened, Tia has to do more than just become Chanku. She has to forgive.
This second installment in Kate Douglas' Wolf Tales series takes two people with instant chemistry and a deeply enmeshed past, and throws them together. Add the rest of the pack to the mix and what you have is one hot, sensual page-turner of a read. Tia is a heroine whom the reader can identify with, and Luc is a hero to take your breath away. The secondary characters are as richly drawn, and the plot just keeps moving. This is a compelling read, one which will keep the reader up until the early hours of the morning.
I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series and highly recommend this title to lovers of erotic romance and shapeshifters. Bravo!

Tianna "Tia" Mason has returned to San Francisco to take a teaching position but also to be near her father and to try to find the truth of her mother's death twenty years before. She's always felt out of place, like she didn't fit in but attributed it to other reasons because she didn't know she was Chanku - an ancient race of shapeshifters.
On her return, she is met at the airport by her father and his long time employee, Lucien Stone. Tia is the mate Luc has dreamed of for years and he's now the person tasked with teaching her about her heritage and her own ability to shift into a wolf.
Tia remembers Luc and her attraction returns full force when she sees him at the airport. But he has secrets that reach far beyond the Pack and the ways of the Chanku. Will their love survive the revelation of those secrets as well as the knowledge that, as a Chanku female, Tia's favors will belong to all the Pack?
I really enjoy the blistering hot sex and sensuality of Kate's Wolf Tales stories and this book does not disappoint. The characters are well rounded and interesting as well. I just wish the resolution of some of the issues didn't feel so convenient.
Even so, Wolf Tales II was a really fun read with hot and steamy sex, with characters you root for and sympathize with.

OK THIS WAS OFF THE CHARTS. THE HOT STEAMY EROTIC LOVE SCENES. WOW. EXTREMELY EROTIC.
