I purchased the Wolf burlwood double winder in April through Amazon. After using one of the winders for awhile I decided to use the second winder to make sure things were working OK.
Well, after 2 days of use the winder failed, the red light was flashing indicating an issue. I had to go through Wolf to get another one and they were great in doing that.
I received the second one and the same thing happened, one winder worked well and one failed after using it a couple of days.
Then a third one was sent, same thing.
Then a fourth one was sent, same thing.
Through the whole process Wolf customer service has been fantastic, but a 900 dollar winder shouldn't be failing like this. Since it was purchased through Amazon and it was after 30 days i couldn't get a refund.
Wolf has given up on the double winder and now is going to send me 3 single winders. I asked them to run them at 800 TPD clockwise for a week before sending them out. That is like 450 dollars retail they are giving me for free, which is nice, but it isn't the double winder I originally wanted.
Like I said, Wolf customer service is awesome, it's the product itself I am not happy with.
