I was forced to find something to support my wok on my new cooker (the old one didn't need anything, and was great). A solid wok ring blocked the heat from rising up the side of the wok, so I searched the Internet. Many expensive cooker manufacturers make their own, often enamelled and/or of cast iron, and they are priced from �25 to �65. I tried this as a cheaper option, and it seems to work just fine.

does the job perfectly. good quality,sturdy,wellmade. as this is open it lets the flame come up arond the wok resulting in a much better heat distribution i also find the cooker is much cleaner as you dont get the build up of soot and c**P on the wok which seemed to drip back down onto the cooker.The only problem i had was that it didnt sit flat on my cooker but this was easily solved by snipping the bottom wire in one place and bending it up To sum up it is certainly worth the money if your cooker doesnt have a proper wok ring
