On the bandwagon of the Disney's channels successful and popular series; Wizard's of Waverly Place comes the movie. And it is just as amazing as the tv series. It has the same qualities of laughter, and some great acting.
The film is a family adventure in which wizard Alex is forced to go on despite her attempts not to. With her mis use of magic having spiralled out of control, her mother steps in and issues a magic free holiday for her and two brothers Max and Justin in a bid to a have a 'normal' family holiday.
Of course there is nothing normal about this holiday when Alex takes matters into her own hands and inadvertantly causes a major magical disaster which could effect her future and that of her family.
There were moments of laughter mixed with that of sad ones and the love hate relationship between Alex and brother Justin is pushed to the max (no pun intended). I enjoyed their relationship progression to accepting and loving each other all be it in the face of adversity.
The disaster (I will not say so I do not spoil) culminates in an early family wizard tournament which sees Alex and brother Justin go head to head in order to save what is left of their family and for only one of them to keep their wizard powers as a prize.
With an ending which goes against character, it makes for a great watch for both tv series fans and those who aren't.
It's magic you know!
