I was given this book for my birthday by my mother, mainly, I think, because it had Terry Pratchett's name on the cover, and, as I am a great follower of his work, she must have thought: "Aha! T.P.! She'll like this!". I thoroughly enjoyed this collection, mostly because of the surprising endings and the well told tales. I recommend this book to any reader of sci-fi and fantasy fiction.

I love the fantasy genre, especially when it's funny. This little gem of a book provided unfamiliar chuckle-inducing material from several well-known authors, and also introduced me to the work of some writers I hadn't previously heard of. Great fun.

This is a compilation of short stories by some excellent authors, unfortunately they are all awful. Everyone has bad days and this book is just a vehicle to cash in on everything ever written by these well known writers - regardless of the quality of the work (poor)
