4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable 26 April 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I enjoyed it but I did feel it was a bit rushed in the beginning with Peter & Justin though it slowed down a bit after when Justin tried to avoid Peter in an effort to protect him from the trouble he was involved in. The plot isn't rushed though as I suspect it will carry over at least one more book if not more as Tom (Justin's ex) is on a mission to destroy all Werekin which Justin wants to prevent given that his younger brother is Werekin. I will definitely watch out for the next book in the series cause I want to see how the issue with tom is resolved.

3.0 out of 5 stars Typical too rushed story with a cliffhanger 22 Jun. 2012
By Nikyta - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I didn't enjoy this story as much as I had thought I would. It's very dense and rushed right from the start so we don't really get to know the characters, the full situation or even explore the world especially since this involves an actual goddess. I was a little disappointed with that because the story started out interesting and then kind of fizzled out.

The characters don't really know each other because Justin spends half the time avoiding Peter then the other half being kidnapped so I didn't feel any type of connection between them. The story has so much deceit in it that it started to annoy me since a lot of it on Justin's part was very unnecessary. Then it ends on a cliffhanger which really sucked.

Overall, the story lacked any type of detail I really wanted which dampened my enjoyment of the story. The book still has a certain charm but it definitely wasn't one of Ms. Kell's best. I'll still continuing reading the series, though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Deja vu 20 Jun. 2012
By Gryffin - Published on Amazon.com

I'm a fan of Amber Kell's works and I did like this story but it was way too much like Jaynell's Wolf; big bad wizard out to rule the world with good wizard and Alpha wolf mate to oppose him. This was not as good as Jaynell's Wolf and, although it didn't have a cliff-hanger ending, it did leave a few issues unresolved. I'd suggest waiting until the next one in the series comes out then buying both so you won't be left waiting to see what happens. Not one of her better stories.

It was ok but definitely not my favorite. Not enough character development I really didn't care if they got their hea or not.

1.0 out of 5 stars No more Amber Kell 19 Jun. 2014
By Kimberly Roberts - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I knew better but tried anyway. The descriptions of Kell's book are pretty interesting. It's unfortunate that the books themselves are not. "I'm Peter. Kiss me." That the opening dialogue of the king of werewolves when he meets the other main character for the first time. Just terrible. I really have to stop torturing myself and skip Kell's books. I only end up disappointed and frustrated. To be fair there were a few that I liked -but lately they all seem to be the same - terrible dialogue and uninteresting characters. Not recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun! 14 April 2014

I read this book as it came to life on Ms.Kell's blog and loved it so much I paid for a copy for my Kindle. A sweet, sexy story about an Alpha meeting his match that will leave the reader breathlessly waiting for the next in the series,
