Product Description

Ben Holiday, the High Lord of Landover, is back in his rightful place. The evil wizard Meeks has finally been dealt with, and all seems well with the world. But, even in a Magic Kingdom, peace never lasts long. It was all Questor Thews' fault, really - whether the inept Court Wizard would like to admit it or not. His bumbling attempt to return Abernathy from the body of a dog to his original human form, resulted in the Court Scribe being transported to Earth, to be replaced by a multi-coloured bottle. Furthermore, Abernathy was wearing the High Lord's medallion at the time, without which Ben's powers are drastically reduced. Ben and Willow set out to find Abernathy, which means following him to Earth. Which means leaving Questor in charge. And that's when things start to go horribly wrong...

Excellent reading! 28 Feb 2001
Format:Paperback
Any fan of Terry Brooks and the Shannara children, this is a must. It is much more lighthearted than the Shannara series, but is worth a read, he keeps you spellbound as always with the stories of Landover a magical kingdom. Ben Holiday is the hero and well as the talking dog Abernathy, who was turned into a dog by mistake from a well-meaning but incompetant wizard. I shall say no more and let you see for yourself. The first of these books is called Magic Kingdom for sale, sold!

Landover 3 28 April 2009
Format:Paperback
Very good book - 1st 2 in series likewise, am avidly reading 4th at present. Some books in this type of genre can be overly long and complex - not the case here, but certainly enough depth of story to get teeth into. I would definately recommend!

Format:Paperback
Breaking with his tradition Brooks brings this series of four books into a new level of fantasy creating a world into which you can disappear with each read.
