4.0 out of 5 stars Marvel Heroclix: Premier Edition, 12 Aug 2003

Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This game is fairly simple to learn, although the rules do not explain how the superpowers work, you have to work out for yourself that the colours on the wheel match to tables on a card, which it doesn't tell you to do anywhere.

Young children will probably need someone to set it up and referree it for them.

The Figures whilst being good quality representations of the heroes are somewhat flimsy. They are attached to the base by their feet and you have to constantly twist them about and after the first game one of the figures was loose from its base.

I presume that encourages you to buy more booster packs for the game.

Also the figures you get to start with make it difficult to have balanced teams if more than 2 people are playing.

All the downsides didn't detract too much from the game though, which is provides good fun for a few hours.

Anyone how likes my BattleTech may like this as it is remarkably similar in many ways.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun for All?, 13 Jun 2006

Some people will buy it for the game. But some will buy it for the figures, which ever one you want it for you will probally enjoy it. But as the title suggests will i be fun? My answer yes but, it is not really to good for younger kids, yes the rules are fairly simple but for younger kids they wont enjoy the game as much they may think it will drone on a bit. But try it out I loved the game it was really simple for me not so simple for my sister she got so board but the game may just be a guy thing of a marvel fan thing
