About the Author
Thomas J. Carey, a native Philadelphian, resides in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. He holds degrees from Temple University (B.S.) and California State University, Sacramento (M.A.), and also attended the University of Toronto for its Ph.D. program in anthropology. An Air Force veteran who held a Top Secret/Crypto clearance, Tom is now a Philadelphia area businessman. He has also been a Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) state section director in Southeastern Pennsylvania from 1986 to 2002, a special investigator for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies from 1991 to 2001, and a member of the CUFOS board of directors from 1997 to 2001. Tom began investigating aspects of the Roswell Incident in 1991 for the Roswell investigative team of Kevin Randle and Don Schmitt, and since 1998 has teamed exclusively with Don Schmitt to continue a proactive investigation of the case. Tom has authored or coauthored more than 30 published articles about the Roswell events of 1947, and has contributed to a number of books on the subject as well. He has appeared as a guest on many radio and TV shows throughout the country and has contributed to a number of Roswell-related documentaries on-screen and behind the scenes. Most recently, Tom was a consultant and interviewee (with Don Schmitt) on the highly acclaimed and rated Sci Fi Channel documentary, The Roswell Crash: Startling New Evidence, the History Channel's Conspiracy Theory - Roswell, the Travel Channel's Weird Travels - Roswell, and the Sci Fi Channel's Sci Fi Investigates - Roswell. Tom and his wife Doreen have two grown children.

Witness to Roswell was not the first Roswell related book I have ever read. It is most likely the 4th in my time, but what this book does offer is a short thumbnail of evidence and witness testimony not usually available.
Sceptics being debunkers in this day and age will profess the original story, a weather balloon crashed in Roswell. Forgetting for the moment that the Air Force has actually changed their story a total of four times since the incident (to help explain more and more evidence being uncovered by investigators), all of the records pertaining to this incident have been destroyed.
So we are left with the offical explanation that the head of base intelligence mistook a weather balloon for a vehicle from another planet! I don't buy it and no should any other thinking person.
A good piece of work from two investigative terriers.

This book is the culmination of years of research on the Roswell Incident, not just by these two authors. The picture which has built up over the years is thoroughly convincing. Schmitt and Carey have conducted hundreds of interviews with around 600 witnesses (firsthand and secondhand). The sheer amount of man hours that have gone into producing something like this puts the majority of Fleet St journalists to shame. Anyone with a rational mind reading this, trusting the authors, will conclude with 98% certainty that Roswell happened and was real.
It leaves the question - Where did all that alien technology go?

This is a must read for anyone interested in finding out the truth about The Roswell Incident. Since the book was written, ex astronaut Dr.Edgar Mitchell has gone on record to say that the Earth has been visited by other intelligencies and that this has been covered up by the government
The book sets out to answer some logical yet important questions.
There have been at least three if not four official explanations by the U.S government regarding The Roswell Crash, each one different from the previous one, why, if it was a only a weather balloon?
The number of witnesses who wanted to set the record straight before they passed away by telling what really happened at Roswell, why, if it was only a weather balloon?
The frantic activity at the Roswell AFB and Hospital, with increased security and extra medical staff being brought in from other locations, why, if it was only a weather balloon?
The fact that all witnesses were threatened not to say anything to anyone, why, if it was only a weather balloon?
There is also the fact that initially it was announced that a Flying Saucer had been recovered and then that statement was subsequently retracted, which hardly instills confidence in the official explanation.
Somone has (in my opinion) unfairly commented that the book contains little or no proof of the event, even after 60 years. I noticed they did not purchase the book so I can only think they read a different one.

After 60 years, is this their best evidence!!
