Unknown in England, huge in Europe, why? The commercial music monkeys in England believes a song should be a certain length and format for us to enjoy and they think we've only got an attention span of a goldfish.
Archive is a break from the average dribble we are subject to on the radio. They got so much depth, emotion, creativity and layers to their music that the only way to listen to them, is by the whole albums at a time to appreciate their full range and diversity. From the albums "You all look the same to me" to "Controlling Crowds" they will take you on a musical journey and their latest album "with us until you're dead" is no exception. With another new voice to add to the collection of vocalists, this album will immerse you to new depths that is more darker and moodier than ever.
I've seen many big bands (apparent big bands) over the last 10 years from Radiohead, Muse, U2, Coldplay, Killers, Oasis, Stone Roses, Kings of Leon, etc but no one compares musically live to Archive! just got back from Paris after seeing them and was absolutely blown away by them........I'm not usually a huge fan of live albums but listen to Archives two live albums "Live in Zenith" and "Live in Athens" to understand where I'm coming from.
Do yourself a favour and immerse yourself, you'll never look back........
