My next book,AFTER THE PARADE, due for release in the spring is the story of Johnny Henry after he comes home from WW11 in 1945. If you enjoyed my stories set in the 30's, I'd be pleased to hear from you.

this was the first book of Dorothy Garlock that i read and i could not put it down. she enters in to the time period of the depression in a way that i have not come accross in other authors works. her charectors are well developed and you cant help empathising with them. the plot was interesting and kept my attention from start to finish. i would recommend this book as an excellant read and definitly one for your collection.

Dorothy Garlock has done it again. I was not one bit disappointed in the third book in her depression era trilogy. It kept my attention from begining to end and I was delighted to learn that a fourth book AFTER THE PARADE would be about the same characters. I highly recommend the trilogy, WITH HOPE, WITH SONG and WITH HEART.

I had read WITH SONG and WITH HOPE this summer and loved them immensely! I kept waiting for WITH HEART to come out. I wasn't disappointed. Others must feel the same way, because at the end of this book, we learn that there is a fourth book in the series coming in May! I recommend the entire series!

I fell in love with Johnny Henry in "With Hope" and "With Song", and am thrilled to find him the main hero in this story, and "After The Parade", the next book in this series. Ms. Garlock did not disappoint me! This is the best romance story I ever read! Why this series hasn't been grabbed for a mini series is beyond me... it has all the best qualities!!!!
The romance is so powerful and strong, I couldn't put the book down. I read this one in two days, and was left breathless for more! Luckily, "After The Parade" was waiting for me! You won't be disappointed. If you read any of Ms. Garlock's books, read this one!!! You do not have to read the series in order, there is enough information cleverly included so that you don't miss a beat!
