5.0 out of 5 stars a great source of primary information 28 Feb 2011

This book and Witch Hunting and Witch Trails by the same author contain the base data to which many later books refer. If you are serious about researching the witchcraft trials, particularly in England then you need a copy of this book. The author performed a lot of primary research on the records and his books contain the results.
