Life is about to change for Brett Bumpers, Martin Van Buren High School's resident brain
Socially inept and head over heels in love with Samantha the school beauty. Brett receives a mysterious package, a talisman, and the power to make three wishes.
Brett makes his first wish - for Samantha to be his date at the school dance, then makes his second wish for Samantha to fall in love with him
But evil forces have been awakened by the use of dark magic. A sinister force appears and methodically and viciously begins to torture and mutilate members of the senior classwith its final and ultimate target the destruction and death of Samantha.
Now Bret needs to protect the woman he loves but can only do so by using his last wish turning the dark power of the sinister force upon himself.

This is a film with everything! An edge of the seat crime-horror with an ending you won't predict the second time of viewing! A relatively unknown cast brought to quality by Meat Loaf in a typical role for him, as a bad cop! This fil will scare you, make you laugh, confuse you and most of all involve you! A must for all true movie fans.

Let's get one thing straight, if you don't like horror films, you probably won't like this. The film starts off as a typical, "nerd boy gotta date the school beaut", but twists into a horror film, about a third into the story. Basically one day Brett Bumpers receives a strange tailsman, and is granted 3 wishes. Naturally Brett asks to be taken to the school party, with his dream girl, 2nd wish is for her to fall deeply in love with him.
I've always like these films, though a bit silly, I liked to see that the main character, had his wildest dreams come true, and it was funny to see that the acting, was sursprisinly solid. When Sam asks Brett out to the party, her facial expressions where spot on, like she put effort into her perfomance, and was puzzled as to why she was suddenly talking to a school nerd.
I recommend this film for anyone who likes, teen problems, and I think Alexandra Holden is fit!!!!!!!!

hav'nt watched it yet,but was told it was excellent movie,write ups good on back of dvd,so i dont need much of an excuse to get a good horror.

Seen it all before but still well done
This was a surpsingly good little movie. The cast of relative unknowns pull off some credible acting and the story moves along nicely without any obvious filler scenes. Read more
