If you have never heard the track "On The Brink", a Mod / Northern classic, then you are missing out on a great instrumental track, Also covered by Sounds Incorporated, but it is hard to tell the difference between Sounds Inc and Mike Vickers versions, as both are very good.

Also recently appeared on one of the Past & Present Instru Hipsters Comps - Mike Vickers originated as one of the Manfred Mann members, and left to release this solo album.

If you like the Manfreds instrumental tracks (Abominable Snowman, Sweat Pea, etc) and the later tracks like "Ha Ha Said the Clown", then this mainly instrumental album combines the vibe sound with an easy listening backdrop, with a few upbeat surprise tracks in the mix.

Although i have heard On The Brink before, i thought I would give this album a try , and was very impressed with the tracks, a few covers and a few originals, very sixties.

Give it a go if you like the Vibe sound.
