This cd single comes from australia and has 3 FULL versions of "Wish I Didn't Miss You". The first track is a radio(4:19) mix but tracks 2 & 3 are mixed by Hex Hector & Mac Quayle that really showcase their mixing abilities. The Club Mix (9:54) is similar to their work with Deborah Cox,Tamia and Toni Braxton. Very American in its house/trance sound it frames the song with DRAMA that the song requires. The Vibe Mix is very disco with strings and live instruments up the wazoo. This mix best show cases the sample of "Backstabbers" by the O'Jays. To me it reminded me of the disco redo by Marlena Shaw of "Touch Me In The Morning" from 79. FLAWLESS!!! The next mix (track 4) is by The Pound Boys. Their Stoneface Bootleg mix(7:51) is similar to the Vibe mix minus all the strings(very retro). Very well done too.Then you get the Spen & Karizma Club mix of "Brotha" that is more in line with their work with the Basement Boys(very spare and hard basslines). This mix is 7:40 and very well done too but not as good as the mixes for "Wish".Buy this cd because you will get all the extended mixes for a better value.
