This book covers a very wide spectrum of electrical (and indeed related) subjects but only at a high level. Items range from simple low voltage lighting circuits to complex multi-phase industrial installations, and obviously, with only 101 pages, that's a lot of stuff to cover. No 'practical' elements as such, emphasis is on the theory and the diagrams. Best viewed as an introduction or an overview, but for more details, you'll need a more specialised book.

I was looking for an introduction into the world of basic electronics. This is "basic" in much the same way as "rocket science" is basic. If you already know what you're talking about then this book probably wont tell you much you don't know already. If, like me, you're still at the red-live, blue-neutral stage of electrics then you'll need another book altogether.. sadly I haven't found it so let me know if you do.
