I bought this device to work with a Samsung Series 7 LED TV, and it works fine, with relatively recent wireless routers. It's certainly cheaper than the high street, who tend not to stock it.
It was too slow and dropped the connection regularly on an old Linksys 504T, but is fine with a newer model; works adequately with a DLNA media server (Buffalo linkstation live), streaming video (divx), photos and music.
Not sure about the worth of the design - it looks nice, but is inevitably stuck behind the television where you can't see it.
Ultimately, it will struggle with higher bandwidth demands, but until HD streaming comes to the fore, this device is an affordable entry to wireless media streaming with Samsung TVs.

The moment this was plugged in to my 8 series Samsung LED TV it was recognised (unlike my other non Samsung wireless adapter)
It is a classy and sleek device and does it's job well. However it only supports the 802.11g (and 802.11b) standard which is not as fast as 802.11n. Wish I'd checked this first as it only operates upto 54Mbps and my other devices work at over 100Mbps (using 802.11n) and the performance difference is noticable if viewing video.

I took a chance on this product as it was much cheaper than the one that was recommended for my TV (which was £55 if I recall correctly) and I thought it would share the same drivers. I plugged it into one of the USB ports and it found my Access Point straight away and it was easy to setup. The only thing I would say is it takes time for things to load but I would have thought that more the fault of the TV rather than the Wireless Stick.

Wireless Dongle
Ordered the wrong one remember to alway read what is required before you buy it I have put this unit to use elsewhere

Works on my 6 series Samsung
Plugged it in tinkered with the remote and it setup easily this dongle works great in my 6 series Samsung at half the price of the other one it's a no brainer.

Very limited use
I just wonder why Samsung had to have a their own wireless dongle to connect to the televison. Too many dongles. A sheer waste of money. Limited use. Just to watch YouTube? Read more

dongle does what is required
Used on a Samsung led tv it does exactly what is required for me. I cant verify what it would be like if you were to stream movies as i have not tried this but for everything else... Read more
