These little beauties have just arrived - and the first impression is very good:
- Pretty tough build - fits in hot shoe with tight tolerances (just about great) - you don't even have to screw the flash on it (I will tho) because it sits tight. They are not too heavy, and not too light with the batteries attached, just the right weight.
The studio flash wire is very good quality too (haven't tried it, as I will use it with Metz flashes, but looks precisely made).
The only little things that could be better are:
-The battery door is a bit flimsy - but it shouldn't be a problem if you are careful with it.
-Once attached on a hot-shoe type flash, it's not easy to turn on (the switch is not very accessible). That's easy to remedy though. (turn it on before you slide it on the flash :-) )
-The manual is written with a strong foreign(I suspect Chinese) grammar - it's understandable, but not an easy read. Most people won't need the manual though, as the operating of these beauties is pretty straight-forward (if you don't feel sure about choosing it only because of the issue with the manual, there are a lot of blogs, etc which run a review of these, and you can figure it out with the help of those).
I am very happy with the items, and I think at this price they are the perfect triggers.
Later I will expand this review about functioning too.
Thanks for reading!
