This router works fine with SKY and BT Infinity (Hub 3) routers. Range is good. Installed as repeater in lounge for TV & SKY+ box internet connections.
One star lost due to poor manual. I suggest you read the manual first. Then use common sense to fill in the gaps in the "Chinglish".

LOVE these little devices!! I have two of them to help boost the wireless signal in my house. Don't be put off by the 'difficult set up comments here, it's actually pretty easy if you know what you want to achieve. I bought mine specifically to act as a repeater and the simple 5 step set up was as follows:
1) On the back of the device theres a number of labels with information about the device - note down the IP address and the default User & Password
2) Plug in, power up and then look for and connect to the 'wireless-N' router in your wifi settings as you would if you were connecting to a new router or public wifi of some kind. It will stand out because it initially broadcasts as an unsecured network.
3) Open your internet browser and type in the IP address from the back of your plug, sign in using the default username and password
4) Ignore all the flashing and revolving tiles (unnecessarily confusing) and look in the top left hand corner of the screen. You'll see four small tiles, one of which is 'Wi-fi Repeater'. Click this and the device will search for any wifi signals in range, when it's finished, select your home wifi from the list and this will take you to another screen where you can put in the password for your home network
5) IMPORTANT step - change the SSID name of the device (second box down) to read the same as your home wifi (eg. BTHub5-xxx) this will mean that any devices you have already connected to your home wifi/router will automatically connect to your repeaters and you won't have to worry about which networks you choose.
That's it!!!
Happy surfing!

This was a terrific little find. I needed a very simple Wi-Fi repeater to increase the consistency of my Wi-Fi signal upstairs in my house. This has been installed and has been working perfectly for a week now, no glitches no hassles, no problem.
The installation guide wasn't strictly accurate and the setup menu didn't auto-run as I have expected it to. The installation manual does give the correct IP address so, once it was found, the setup menu was very straightforward and very easy to deal with.

I bought one of these as a discrete way to extend wireless signals into the porch at my parents-in-law's house (it sits behind a cupboard).
The device works great as an additional wireless access point.
The location already had Ethernet wiring and as it has two NIC ports, I was able to continue the cable run to another location without requiring another cable run.

I've probably used it in one of its most simple configurations as a straight AP with no DHCP and with switched cabling, but it is also able to be used without cables as an extender, or as a NAT router with DHCP server connected to a modem.

It loses a star as the documentation is not great, which is a shame as I think it's a great little unit for the price. This maybe means this one is best saved for the techies. Anyone who knows their way around a router should have no difficutlies.

Like you reading through the review I bought and hoped it would work.

Plug it in with Ethernet, used the same SSID and password as my existing and now have wireless upstairs.

Works fine and is small

This is quite a cheap booster and it doesn't boost the range massively but I am happy with it from a cost/benefit point of view.

Quite easy to set up and once programmed you don't ever need to touch it again. Even if you leave it unplugged for ages it will still be configured when you plug it back in.

It's quite discrete looking as well which is a bonus.

When i first configured it, it was working like a charm. But after several days it just stop working.
It was need to reset and do the configuration again. Every time it stop working is for a different cause (low speed, no internet connection, low signal..) but every time is restated to factory configuration and reconfigured it works..
