Purchased this for a linux setup after having problems with a Netgear USB adapter. Five minutes after installation the adapter was up and running with no intervention other than physical installation on my part. Contact is reliable although the router is at some distance from the PC. Signal reported at 45% to 65%. Very happy with this economically priced unit which arrived quickly and works well.
