Mine worked straight out of the box. It was easy to install. It was easy to configure and it was easy to connect the printer to four PC's on the home network.
It works completely automatically - it is as if the printer is connected directly to all four PC's.
It is at least as fast as if it was connected directly.
I have mine connected to a Canon Pixma MP170. It works perfectly in both directions (ie it scans as well as prints).
I could not be more pleased with it. I have just ordered a second one for my second home in France!
(A note for anyone who has not done it, you have to have the driver for the printer installed on the PC before it can work - it is probably a bit easier to install the printer driver before you install the Belkin Printer Management software. To get it to work automatically with many PCs, set the option to disconnect automatically)

Absolute rubbish. Sort of works occasionally but doesnt queue print jobs. Causes various error messages in WIndows. Ive upgraded the firmware but its still a waste of money.
Belkin - nuff said. SHould have learnt my lesson after all the ADSL routers I bought that failed early or just didnt work. I'll not be buying any more of their cr*p again

If you think even for a minute that you can have wired and wireless access to this "print server" forget it. This was my first mistake. I assumed that it would, as a print server, service both the pc's and mac on the network. Wrong again. The mac wont see it because it's not wireless and when it is, hey ho, the pc's cant see it because they are wired. It hung numerous times during initial setup, this was before even trying to introduce it to the mac. The cute little diagram in the quick setup guide shows pc's and mac's happily communicating with this device but alas, the software had to be loaded on to ALL the pc's and, go figure, there is no software on the disk for mac's. I've given up after days and days of trying and will be returning this for a refund.
