This airport card is not worth the trouble. First of all, you can't install it properly, because it does not ship with any mounting screws. secondly, the antenna mounts are labelled as 0, 1, 2, when the cables are labelled 1, 2, 3. There are no instructions with this airport card at all. I'm yet to get this working. Don't waste your money

I was using a USB pen to connect to the wifi router but after it had stopped working I've decided to buy this original Apple Airport Extreme Card 802.11n which work beautifully with my Mac Pro early 2008 with Mac Os X 10.8.2. I would definitely recommend it to any Mac Pro owner in a similar situation.

This is a standard Apple Airport Extreme Card for MacPro and as such works extremely well. It is not easy to install but should be able to be installed by anyone with a little patience. No screws are provided by the seller and they are needed to ensure a safe fit. The Apple Part Number for the screw is 922-7734 and the size is M2x3. The screws are used by major electronics manufacturers on items such as video cameras, cameras, microphones etc and are most easily sourced through these channels. Delivery was quick and efficient.
