Took a chance on this with no reviews available, based purely on the fact that it looked similar to other products that had good reviews.
I previously had a Belkin wireless adapter, bought specifically to work on my son's new pc that has Windows 7, but the Belkin was woefully pathetic - low reception quality and constant dropouts.

This little gem worked straight out of the packet, with the supplied mini installation disk, and the obligatory connection to the wireless hub. Simple to do and up-and-running in 5 minutes flat.

Since the installation, he's had obsolutely no dropouts whatsoever and a constant, unvarying, maximum 5 bar reception quality.

Very very pleased indeed - sometimes it's worth a punt !

very disappointed, bought this as I have another Antenna that likewise runs of a USB cable with speed of only 54Mbps and great coverage. This Antenna is obviously more compact but produce no better signal strength then my built in Sony wireless receiver but runs at the same speed 65mbps. My Sony laptop wireless receiver is equal to this Antenna, I will try it on my 10.1 notebook which has a poor reception if it improves that, then I will consider keeping as it will be an improvement for when travelling. Can not make out why this device is not as good as my other USB 54Mbps Antenna? considering that one actually runs of a 3/4 meter Length USB cable, I thought the cable would reduce the signal ? obviously not. This seller's customer service is also very poor, after sending pictures of the problem showing a lesser signal strength than my built-in laptop antenna, I thought i'd return this item & purchase a dearer Alfa brand until noticed all antenna on Amazon are sold by same seller clever gadgets? believe me there's nothing clever about him I'm gonna try Ebay never thought I'd say that when purchasing from Amazon. I would like to upload the pic's but unfortunetly there isn't the facility, by the sellers remarks I'd state this item is utter junk & he knows it. he obviously expects you to fund the cost of returns, item works but worse than my built in ?????

Fast, stable
Working flawlessly till now. It cut me from 39 Mb to 12 Mb but still very fast. For users without fibreoptic is just perfect. Do the job.

Works well with Linux
Achieved 94Mbps sustained throughput on this, which isn't bad for a 150MBps device. That's right, 150Mbps, because whilst this is sold as a 300Mbps device, it's only 1x2 MIMO so... Read more
