About the Author
Felicity Heaton is a romance author writing as both Felicity Heaton and F E Heaton. She is passionate about penning paranormal tales full of vampires, witches, werewolves, angels and shape-shifters, and has been interested in all things preternatural and fantastical since she was just a child. Her other passion is science-fiction and she likes nothing more than to immerse herself in a whole new universe and the amazing species therein. She used to while away days at school and college dreaming of vampires, werewolves and witches, or being lost in space, and used to while away evenings watching movies about them or reading gothic horror stories, science-fiction and romances. Having tried her hand at various romance genres, it was only natural for her to turn her focus back to the paranormal, fantasy and science-fiction worlds she enjoys so much. She loves to write seductive, sexy and strong vampires, werewolves, witches, angels and alien species. The worlds she often dreams up for them are vicious, dark and dangerous, reflecting aspects of the heroines and heroes, but her characters also love deeply, laugh, cry and feel every emotion as keenly as anyone does. She makes no excuses for the darkness surrounding them, especially the paranormal creatures, and says that this is their world. She’s just honoured to write down their adventures.

Well what can I say but fantastic !!! I really enjoyed this novel. I just couldn't put it down, Winter and Nika really go through a roller coaster of emotions, and I was there with them !!! You really feel for them. I would recommend this book to anyone. Go on....give it a go, you won't be sorry.

In one word - Excellent.
I loved every second of it. Forbidden love, lust, sex, Winter *sigh*. Now, if that Vamp was real flesh and blood I'd be one happy lady lol. You can't help but get caught up in Winter and Nika's emotional turmoil. It was heartbreaking seeing two people who love each other so much have to fight their attraction, because some damn were-wolf had to mess everything up. I hated that Winter had to take her away, leave thinking he'd never see her again - like I said... emotional turmoil. I swear my gut twisted every time one of them got teary eyed or ached for the other. It was unbelievable how much pain filled those pages, how much longing, and fear. I don't think I've ever felt for anyone as much as I felt for these two. And I don't think I've ever loved a character as much as I love Winter (regardless of what Felicity says lol). He loved Nika so god damn much (as she did him), he pined for her in a way that made me totally jealous - I want someone to want me like that. His reaction to her made me love Winter all the more... so much love and longing *sigh*.
My fav part of the book is when they first leave the Validus mansion for the Werewolf stronghold. Their in the woods and Nika tells Winter she wants to be with him and no other, and he tells her that she'll find someone else to love breaking her heart in the process. Nika runs from him in tears, he catches up and pins her to a tree. Slowly he kisses each of her tears away before saying 'This does not only hurt you' and rests his forehead against her temple. Nika reaches up to caress his cheek and he takes her free hand in his... that scene just makes me melt. It really shows their love and heartache. I love it. This is one emotionally charged book, one that will have you roped in from the word go. I highly recommend this book to those who enjoy a good paranormal romance
