As an adult the trouble with the Thomas Top Trumps is the fact that the biggest number it is possible to get on any of the categories is 10, so it's really quite easy to work out whether you are likely to win or lose with a given card. However for children this is not that relevant and certainly these gave my 3 and 4 year old hours of enjoyment and us hours of peace on long car journeys. I would have thought that, once your children can read and understand longer numbers, they would be beyond this version of top trumps but it would probably remain play-able till 5 or even 6.....
