No longer is there a need to devote a whole evening to playing Monopoly as you can now play the game in around 20 minutes!
The aim of the game, as in the board game, is to collect groups of like-coloured properties, stations and utilities. You can then build up to 4 houses and a hotel on your properties and, when all cards in your hand are serving a purpose, cash them in for mega dosh! Bonus cards such as Go (giving you �200 straight off), Mr. Monopoly (�1000 if you have the most of them) and tokens (giving you the value of a chosen group again) all make the game more exciting.
On your turn there's the option of drawing or trading. It may have the same name, but this game is quite different to its board-game cousin. However, it's just as much fun and well worth buying if you can find a copy!

Every year I seek out new card games as they are portable to take on holiday with us. This is definitely one of the best we own. Primarily this is because it is more fun and far quicker to play than the original board game. As such, it is more fun for children. The board game can go on seemingly forever, which can be very tedious for young children. This game holds everyone's attention!

The aim of the game, as in the board game, is to collect stations, utilities and groups of properties. Once you have a 'monopoly' you can add up to four houses and then a hotel to earn loads of money. Bonus cards such as 'Go'(worth �200), 'Mr. Monopoly' (�1000 if you have the most of them), tokens and 'Chance' cards all make the game more exciting. On your turn you choose whether to draw or trade. Once you have accumulated at least one 'monopoly' and the prerequesite number of utility or station cards, plus tokens, etc. you can declare your hand. The first to do so gains an additional five cards to add to thier hand. Declare too soon and someone else may actually earn more money - it all adds to the nervous excitement!
