Winnie the Pooh and chums return for three animated adventures. In 'Pooh Skies', Pooh mistakenly believes that he has broken the sky after cloud watching with Christopher Robin. 'Oh, Bottle' sees the friends playing at pirates, while in 'Up, Up and Away', Pooh is locked up by his compatriots for his own safety after breaking the laws of gravity.

From the Back Cover

After cloud watching with Christopher Robin, imaginations run wild and everyone runs for cover when Pooh thinks he’s broken the sky in Pooh Skies. Then, in Oh, Bottle, the message is clear, rescue Captain Robin and it’ll be smooth sailing forever after! And in Up, Up and Away, best friends stick together to save Pooh from himself by locking him up for breaking the laws of gravity!

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly entertaining! 21 July 2001
By A Customer
Format:VHS Tape
Three short cartoons with all the favourites! Pooh Bear, thinking he has made a hole in the sky while hunting for honey, finds out where cloud shapes are made. He also discovers why bears cannot fly! My two year old son loves Winnie the Pooh and this rates as one of his all time best!

2.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable, but not one of Disney's better Efforts! 27 Aug 2002
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This is a very enjoyable edition to the Pooh friendship series. The story is mild and is good for kids up to the age of 5. The story has plenty if action to bring a smile to your child's face. The video is great and is fun for kids.
In the story, you will see how Pooh thinks he broke the sky, how Pooh wants to fly, and how they try to save Christopher Robin, even though he was not in trouble.
The story sounds like a very entertaining video. However, you may notice that the animation is weaker than the classic Pooh stories, the illustrations are not as good, and surprisingly, the characters are not very active, unlike the Classics, Blustery Day, Honey Tree, Tigger Too, and Day for Eeyore. These are less charming than the ones with Sterling Holloway, Hal Smith, and all the other great voices.
This is not one of Disney's better efforts, and is far from one of Pooh's best adventures. The video is great for your kids, but it is still nothing like the originals. Stick to the originals.(Blustery Day, Honey Tree, Tigger Too, Day for Eeyore).

3.0 out of 5 stars Friendship Volume 3 - 3 Classic Pooh Stories 30 April 2012
By Lee Neville - Published on Amazon.com
The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was a cartoon series that premiered in 1988 on The Disney Channel. 13 episodes aired before the show moved to ABC in the fall of 1988. Each episode was either a full length story that covered the entire episode, or two short stories that filled the episode. Season 1 had 22 episodes, Season 2 had 10 episodes, Season 3 had 10 episodes and Season 4 had 8 episodes, totaling 50 episodes and concluding in 1991.

The series was then followed by a number of specials. In order, these were Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too in 1991, Boo To You! Winnie the Pooh in 1996, A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving in 1998, Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You in 1999 and Winnie the Pooh; A Very Merry Pooh Year in 2002.

As of 2012, Disney has yet to release the show as a complete series. The majority of episodes have however been released in various collections over the years. The only episodes not to be released in the US on any home media format are-

Pooh Oughta Be in Pictures (the very first episode- this is available on the UK VHS video Hundred Acre Hero at Amazon.co.uk)
Cleanliness Is Next to Impossible (episode 6- this is available on the UK VHS Bubbles and Troubles at Amazon.co.uk)
To Be or Not To Bee (episode 38.1- not available on any home media format in the world)
Sorry Wrong Slusher (episode 43- not available on any home media format in the world)

The rest of the series has been released either on DVD or VHS.

Now as to this specific Winnie the Pooh: Imagine That, Christopher Robin! - Friendship VHS video.

This is Volume 3 in the Winnie the Pooh: Friendship VHS series. The previous volume isWinnie the Pooh: Three Cheers for Eeyore and Rabbit [VHS]. The next volume is Winnie the Pooh: Tigger-Ific Tales [VHS].

Episodes include:

Pooh Skies (Episode 37)

For a video for this age, I think there could have been a better story line.A little slow moving and sometimes even boring. Prachi

If it's about Pooh, it's a must for me! I fell in love with Pooh in the mid-30s when I was in second grade. My children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren have been introduced to him through me.
