4.0 out of 5 stars Give 'em a break! 15 July 2012
Yes it's not the most exciting thing Neil and Chris have ever put out, however it's far from 'dire' and surely the boys can be forgiven the odd commercial release when it's put into the context of their other work. The last album Format was a reminder of PSB's sublime talent as recording artists, whilst The Most Incredible Thing shows us they still have plenty in the tank. A new album (of original material) is due soon, and I am confident that this will redress the balance for all the naysayers.

Love it! Wonderful vibe about this track, combining retro and progressive sounds. Lovely flowing synth chords and a regulation catchy chorus, just what we've come to expect from one of pop music's greatest ever couplings. Expect to hear this throughout the Olympics coverage!

4.0 out of 5 stars PSB Olympics bound? 8 July 2012
A rousing anthem-like production is slightly let down by somewhat corny lyrics. A few nice lines such as "enjoy it while it lasts" thankfully undercut the sappiness a bit. But let's face it, this song is meant to be listened to while watching people in slow motion strive for achievement, and on that level it will have no match this summer. Sounds incredible when turned up loud.

We should expect much better than this from PSB. Lyrically one of their weakest ever and the music just cannot rise above that. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars a grower
This is very much Neil Tennant's idea of a radio friendly single. It's also a real grower. It's not your typical PSB lyric, either, but clearly there's an olympic link coming up in... Read more
