Brilliant to see this available on the Kindle. Sam Harris loses everything and gets put away for a crime he didn't commit. When he gets out he goes looking for answers - and revenge. Still a great read after all these years. Looks like this is the third in the series after The Money Stones and The Balfour Conspiracy

I had a chance to read a review copy and it's a great story. Well worth a place on your Kindle, perfect summer reading and a good price too. If you like this, you might also like The Money Stones and The Balfour Conspiracy

Good story about gambling in England and the mobs. 18 April 2012
By Marebear - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Sam Harris is the perfect example of going from rags to riches then back to rags. He gets his nickname of "Winner" Harris from the huge gambling empire he creates. Then Winner is taken down by persons unknown. The story begins with Sam getting out of jail. The rest of the story goes between the time after he left jail and then back to the years leading up to his arrest. Sam finds out he was used, how he was used and who used him, much to his suprise. Lots of action, some suprises.
