I have mixed feelings about this product. The positive aspects of it are that: it is indeed 'heavy duty' and protects a solid wood floor from the occassional 'bounceout', the markings are clear and the lines are nice and fat. However, there are a few negatives. Perhaps I shouldn't complain, but it's been in the house for over a month and still smells very strongly like an old tyre which doesn't exactly make the wife love it ! I've played on it in bare feet and some of the markings have been almost worn away as the white pigments have 'come away' from the mat, presumably due to the moisture, which is far from ideal as you'd expect a product like this to be capable of bing used in all conditions and to really last. Ironic, really, that workmen boots are fine but your bare feet can damage it ! Finally, as it's supplied 'rolled up' it's also proving difficult to actually get it to lay flat, at both ends, and it's been down a month - this makes it hard to ensure it's in the correct place and doesn't look great.

I brought this mat solely for my bedroom, when putting up my dartboard i rolled this back and the supposedly 'heavy duty' mat ripped when i stepped back onto it, a tear almost the width of the mat itself. Not really heavy duty at all, avoid.

Looked great when it arrived - a good thick mat. However, has been in place in the Recreation Room for only 6 weeks and the white lines are already scuffing off. Not the wear that we expected from this product.

Dont bother
This mat smells so strongly that it has been binned. I was worried it was toxic! Cant get the smell out of the carpet now either. Avoid.

Smelly yes but use your brain for what you want it for

What a smell
Beware if you intend to use this product indoors! I don't know what it is made of but it STINKS.

Winmau heavy-duty floor mat
