This windscreen repair chip kit does exactly what it says on the tin (package). It was very simple to use with clear instructions and has saved me the cost of a new windscreen by preventing the chip and star like cracks from spreading. Whilst there is sufficient resin in the syringe for at least 3 chips the kit only contains one sticky backed disc which is placed over the offending chip. On removal the sticky disc becomes unuseable. An alternative solution to make best use of the remaining resin is to cut your own discs from double sided sticky carpet tape.

Lovely little kit this is, reminds me very much of the old Autocare kits but seems much better put together, nice package, decent instructions etc. The syringe works like magic, sorted out quite a hefty chip on my screen and now it looks like new. Great way to save loads of time and money getting your screen done professionally.

It certainly did the job as the crack looks almost gone and there is no danger of the windscreen falling apart anymore. For the price you pay you definitely get value for money!

I would advise anyone giving this a go to read the instructions beforehand. When sticking the pad onto the windscreen don't
just secure with fingers use a blunt object e.g. screwdriver handle to press the sticky pad onto the windscreen (i did not do this and the glue leaked from the edges running down the screen). Despite this my stone chip defintely decreased in size and is less visible - passed MOT! Its not as easy to do this and requires some good DIY hands to do a better job. For the money it's worth the effort and you learn something in the process. Does take a bit of hard work to remove the sticky bits in the end.

Product arrived on time. Was well packaged and looked as though it was worth the money. However, I followed the instructions to the letter (apart from having to make up the bits that were missing due to them being poorly written and incomplete), but the product failed to work. It was impossible to squeeze the product into the chip. The syringe was working OK - I made sure it wasn't blocked. When I removed the cling film and inspected my work, there was absolutely no resin in the chip whatsoever. A waste of time and money.

Although I followed the instructions to the letter (I'm an engineer and know what I'm doing) I found this product quite useless.
The kit itself is ok for the job, but the resin is too soft for the task in hand. Despite cleaning the screen meticulously, the resin has peeled off after a week and gives no stability to the crack. I have reused the kit using West epoxy and this has worked a lot better.

Following the instructions I found it easy to use apart from liquid escape from the applicator base, maybe my fault, so the result tho' not perfect is okay, the not perfect part is the fact that a very small indent, about 3mm was left in the centre of the repair, I had no liquid left otherwise I could have filled in and made the job a good un.

In my experience the resin does not key to the chip properly so you end up no better off than if you hadn't bothered.
