A Wind of Change was really blowing over the Jefferson Starship by the time they recorded this Album. The founder Paul Kantner was on the verge of leaving and taking his 'Jefferson' title with him. Ironicaly without him and the 'Jefferson' tag, Starship were going to go on to have some of their bigest UK hits - We Built This City.
Paul write one track only on this album and co-writes the track 'Out of Control'with Grace Slick (his ex-partner) and also their daughter China Kantner.
The title track has Grace Slick and Mickey Thoms trading lead vocals as they will continue to do so into Starship. Grace sings the track 'Black Widow' and in my view this is the stand out track on this album.

A welcome addition - means I can ditch the vinyl from a long time ago. Shame the art work is limited to only the front cover - buying a hard copy the hope is the lyrics or rear cover, etc. So you could just do a mp3 download!
