Brilliant, clear cut & easy to understand 5 May 2000

Purchased this book 5 weeks ago, 5 weeks later sat my exam 1000/1000, the book covers everything and more than you need to know for the exam. It is very easy to understand and does not bore the reader. Classic examples are given with excellent tips for the exam. This book is a MUST for all potential MCSE candidates. The book is small so I would read it allmost anywhere I could, its not one of those big chunky books with confusing long examples. Mark my words after reading this book you will be returning to buy another!

Difficult to follow ! 8 Feb 2000

I found this book did not suit my study style, despite the 'accelerated' claims, it actually slowed me down as I had to refer to other books for more information. Also found some things mentioned like Min requirements inaccurate. Not the best book for someone without too much experience. Im using In a nutshell series instead with the MS folders from my course.

well-written, well-edited and seemingly free from the typos and horrible grammar that plague most of the other mcse material i've seen. great writing style, very easy to read, and to-the-point (i love how it concentrates on what you need to know to pass the exam).

workstation was my first exam, and i aced it. this book was one of the main reasons. i'd recommend it to anyone trying to self study for their mcse. however, i still recommend getting a few other manuals if you're going to self study. no one manual emphasizes everything evenly, and even the poorly written ones will cover things that others won't. nevertheless, don't neglect this book. it's one of the best out there.
