This USB Link Adaptor is specially designed to work with Windows Easy Transfer, a new feature on the most recent Windows Operating System - Windows 7. I couldn't have been more pleased to see how well this little device automaticallly transfered my doucments and some software from my old PC to the new. It took away all my fears about how I was going to cope with the technicalities and time consuming transfer of each item individually. The lead and disc did it all for me. I note that the software from Windows 7 (or possible Vista)onwards has the programming built in, so all you need is the lead. I was going from XP to Windows so I used the disc supplied to download the program. Easy-peasy!

I have been unable to get the transfer working from XP to Windows 7 home premium, after returning the first lead and upon receiving the 2nd I tried but failed as the XP system did not recognise the link.
Very disappointed, but as the company do not refund I am stuck with a cable that does not WORK.
Be aware it may not work for you.
