This software came with my PC. It was easy to install and had nice packaging. But when you first finnish installing it, it then has to download then install about 84 new updates. Mine took all night. But its worth the wait. It has a lot of cool new feautres including the new inproved media player 11 and the brand the upgraded explorer 7. I had lots of fun with this. It is simple and straight forward. I would recommend to any computer fanatic or for someone who is new to windows.

5.0 out of 5 stars Windows Vista Basic Edition, 31 July 2009

I purchased a netbook in Spain which was absolutely fabulous except that everything was in Spanish and could not be converted. Rather than purchase another copy of the XP operating system I decided to upgrade it to an English Version of Windows Vista. Although it could only take the Basic Edition, I'm glad I did upgrade. The netbook is faster and more responsive. I like the interface of Vista anyway and the ease of use makes it all worthwhile.
