Having used the A+ cerfication "All-in-one" guide (which I thought to be very good) I had high hopes for this sister title. Unfortunately, I soon realised I had made a mistake. The text is littered with typos (annoying) through to blatant errors and contradictions (unforgivable). The proof readers were either inept, unqualified or both with regard to the material. This conveys a definite rushed feeling for publication. The format was not to my liking. I like to revise and sit each exam seperately, rather than revise all three and sit them consecutively. Unfortunately, although it would be difficult to completely pigeon hole sections of text "per exam", I feel that much more effort could have been made. The exam matrix at the back of the book does little to help with this. IMHO look elsewhere unless you already have substantial experience, knowledge and patience.

    It is an all-in-one 4 Mar 2004
    By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
    Format:Hardcover
I think the last three reviewers missed the point - the book is an All-in-One covering all three of the stated exams. Chapter-end questions deal with information found in the chapter. The idea is to provide a foundation for passing all three exams. This book does a good job of that. The CD material that comes with the book lets you study for each exam individually. Like any book, it has some typographical errors, which is why you don't rely on it exclusively but also use the product and other resources.

MCSA Certification Study Guide Review 13 May 2007
    By J. R. Jackson - Published on Amazon.com
    Format:Hardcover
This book is being used to prepare for the MCSA certification exams, thus far I feel that the book is well written and includes several practicals that should assist me as I prepare to attain my certification. I will be able to more acurately rate this book after taking my exams. At this point I would strongly recommend the book to anyone preparing to attain the MCSA or MCSE certification.

Too Much Info 13 Mar 2007
By Scott J. Fayden - Published on Amazon.com
    Format:Hardcover
This is a very through book but the subject material is not presented so one can read it and pass. The material from all three tests are not divided into any kind of order, instead the materal is broken into chapters that will confuse you if you are reading just to pass the tests. The other problem that I have is some of the questions at the chapters end are experience questions... where the answer is not necessarly in the chapter but you are expected to know it. Microsoft reccomends one year as an Administrator to take the test... really it should be more like five. The questions are going to be too advanced for someone in their mid career. If you are set on buying this book it is good as an overall book, but you will also need somthing like exam cram for each test. Hope this helps
