3.0 out of 5 stars Good Introduction to Hyper-V, 6 Jun 2009
By Philip Chapman - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I took a punt on this title in the aim to get some knowledge for the 70-652 MCTS exam and although I am not disappointed, if you are gunning for that credential it may be best to wait for the official MCTS publication (due for launch in the UK in mid June). Its a good book, well written by authors with top credentials and know the subject well. There is a lot of 'padding' around general Server 2008 topics (which is not a bad thing) and it is only really in the latter chapters that it gets going into something Hyper-V specific. But when it does it is very good. I wait to compare it with the official Microsoft publications.
