Product Description

Apps are at the heart of Windows 8, bringing rich and engaging experiences to both tablet and desktop users. I am a very experienced programmer and have been teaching programming for more than 30 years.

The book states it assumes you have an understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript which is fine for a book like this. However, the level of use of these technologies is by far far away very advanced. So it is a struggle to understand the book as little detail is given about what the author assumes you already know.

Unless you live and breath HTML, CSS and JavaScript already, do not buy this book.
