Excellent, brilliant and fantastic. Although a C++ programmer i have no idea of programming with the Win API. After reading the first few chapters i can write full windows applications, even if you have absolutely no programming experience at all you will still be writing windows programs within a few hours. Unlike other books it doesn't treat you as a moron and it doesnt assume you are technical genius. Clearly and thoroughly explained with plenty of examples, this is the best technical book i have ever read, buy it!

I bought several books to learn win32, this one is the best introduction. It is really easy to read and simple to understand. It is laid out in a clear manner and has plenty of examples. It doesn't go into a great deal of depth, so this book isn't for you if you are looking for a book on advanced topics. But great for the beginner!

This book is a great reference for beginning programming windows. My only complaint about it is the lack of detail that it gives any one topic, but it is good for beginners.
