5.0 out of 5 stars A great help 23 Feb 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
We have both just acquired new computers, both with Windows 8, which is quite different from Vista and Windows 7, and were having huge problems. My husband has found this book, with its step-by-step approach, extremely informative and helpful. I'm lagging behind, because I'm lazy, and still rely on my iPad, but I have also referred to it and found it easy to follow successfully.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential reading 10 Mar 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Delivered in good time. Indispensable if you're new to Windows 8.1. Many things explained in plain language that you would struggle to find out about elsewhere. Saved us a lot of time in getting the new laptop fully functional for what we want. I think younger than seniors would find it useful too.
