Really pleased with this buy. Stays on the window sill and charges itself. Sound is clear and loud enough to use indoors or in the garden. Easy to tune and has headphone socket plus LED torch facility. An absolute bargain!

I bought this radio to accompany me on my round the world travels. Its compact, sturdy and light enough to easily stow away in my rucksack while on the move.
I also really like the sound, something Ive often found inferior on other portable radios, but this one is brilliant and the funky tuner and volume dials on left and right of the unit are incredibly easy to use. The winding handle for charging the battery is real quality, top marks for this Re-Wind and the solar panel is also very handy while sitting listening in the sun. Ive used the torch facility a few times without fail, its one of the brightest Ive used with 3 white led's, its a campers dream torch !! To sum this product up Id give it 5 ***** its just perfect for my needs !!

I bought this as a Xmas present for my boyfriend as a replacement for his older, larger and more expensive wind up radio that had been knocked around a bit. It was his favourite present! It is so much better than his old one, it is more ergonomically designed making it easier to use, it has clearer reception, and even looks better. Because of the price I was concerned it might look a bit cheap, but was very pleased, the outside is a matt, rubber-type coating which makes it look much nicer than shiny plastic. I'm also very surprised at how bright the torch is, considering it only has 3 LED's. I previously bought a wind up torch that was so pitiful it never got used. Although having used the torch out walking one word of caution is that the light doesn't last long, so I'm guessing it might need a charge up with the USB lead, or a really really long wind. However it will still be handy for camping - eg looking for things in the ten at night.
All in all a great product, excellent value, would highly recommend.
