after i ordered this product i read the last review and i feared the worst,i am running vista as well so signs were not good,but this product installed easily with no problems at all and it registered easily as well,picture on blu-ray is first class, i cannot find any faults with this product.

This is now the only decent software for both HD / Bluray DVD formats, as the latest update of Power DVD 7 ultra, (June), now will not play HD DVD with sound in synch. Be aware you have to disable vista user access to update aacas code but this is a minor problem with this software.Also upscaling standard DVDs works well, almost up to HD standards. Get this soon before HD DVD disapears from your PC.
The product arrived promptly and installed OK on my Windows 7 PC. It played my home made Bluray movies but would not play any commercial titles on Bluray or HD-DVD. Nero Vision has no problems playing the same titles.
An dialogue box kept asking me to update the AACS key for the encrypted titles - trying to do this just resulted in an error message from the Corel support site saying that there was no patch.
After 6 weeks of repeated e-mails to Corel Technical Support, the only suggestion (taking 6 weeks) was to suggest that I was trying to play 2010 titles - I responded that they are all pre 2009. Back came the response that I should contact them by phone and there may be a charge.
If you buy this product and have problems, don't bother contacting technical support - there isn't any!
