Even if you don't believe in the supernatural it is very hard not to after reading this great little book.
Written in a an easy read style, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. You just can't wait to read the next story in each chapter.
A mixture of stories from past and present, it also gives you an idea of what it was, and is like to live in Wiltshire; that place of great historical monuments like Avebury and Stonehenge.
Highly recommended!

I bought this book and was lucky enough to have it signed by Sonia, who is an absolute legend.
It's got some fantastic stories, all written in a mysterious and exciting way. It really is a must buy if you have an interest in Wiltshire, the supernatural, or you just enjoy a good story!

this book really is no more than a leaflet of light anecdotes, we learn that people that live in villages are very hardy, salt of the earth types and that modern conveniences didnt arrive in villages til very late. the tales themselves totally lack atmosphere, there isnt one story there that you havent heard a few times before. very disappointing.
