I received this as a Christmas gift and was so disappointed with it.
The blade is ridiculously flimsy and just won't stay straight, even with careful use. It basically just tore up the cake (and it was a firm, dense cake mix that I've used many times before with no problems). The results were so bad that I had to throw away the cake and start again. Buy a cheap wire cutter instead - it's more effort to use but the results are a million times better.

This product is pretty useless. Even with careful use, the cake ends up a good centimetre lower at one side. The blade just seems too flimsy to do a good job.

I was soo excited to buy this product. But it was UTTER disappointment. The blade was filmsy. When I tried to slice my cake the blade kept curving upwards and in the end I just threw it to the side and used my knife which did a FARRRRR much better job..Dont waste your money on this.
