Manufacturer's Description
Control. The new Wilson Staff Ci7 iron draws its inspiration from the award winning Ci6, and improves on it. It combines a tour-driven mid-size shape with a greater level of forgiveness for maximum playability.
The new Ci7 features a mid-size head preferred by most golfers, delivering the look of a tour iron with the forgiveness of an oversized iron. Its advanced weight distribution creates a high MOI and maximum forgiveness. The central notch accentuates heel / toe perimeter weighting for the increased MOI. The thin face deliver the maximum power, and the undercut cavity delivers greater head stability. The elastomeric paint in the cavity reduces vibration by a third.
The set with the True Temper Tx105 lightweight steel shaft provides greater clubhead speed, where as the UST V2 graphite shaft offers tour-proven Proforce tip technology for stability and accuracy.
Both shafts feature Progressive Tip Design, with a softer tip (lower kick point) in the long irons to promote a higher ball flight, transitioning to a stiffer tip (higher kick point) in the scoring irons to maximise control and accuracy.
