This DVD with Willie Nelson and his band and backin singers will not be everyones
cup of tea. It consists mainly of old standards with the odd 'country' number.
I loved it, but then, I'm a fairly new Willie fan. The man is awesome and, hardly
surprising that any musician/singer of any note will jump at the chance to be in
the studio with him or, be honoured to be on the same stage.
If you are a true fan, (even if it's not country all the way), go buy it.

we first saw this dvd on netflix my wife does not really like willy nelson untill this dvd granted the cover was wrong and if another person wrote the songs down i would not have found it now maybe my wife will like more of willy tthe dvd has songs from shows made back in the 80's

I could hardly sit through it. Now I'll give it away. The cover is misleading. It's not from this concert. It was a stuffy suit and tie dinner affair. Slow songs like Moon River. An orchestra, not a band behind him. I'm a big Willie fan, but this isn't my kind of music at all. Now I know why it's only a couple bucks.

The audio and video on this recording is more than adequate. The songs however are just a treat to hear if you are a fan of willie nelsons crossover material.
