I read Richmal Crompton as a child- almost ALL William books. Now, 60 years later I got this funny urge to collect the series and am pl;eased to tell you know I have been receiving pre-owned copies from around the world! Have nearly completed my goal- one or two at most to come!

This was the final William Book Richmal Crompton wrote,Its a very good book but not as good as the earlier ones, but when she wrote it she must have been quite an old lady, and just wanted or needed to stop writing them, she also wrote other books too which are very good the Jimmy ones were fun if you can find any they too are worth a look, She also wrote books for adults too,and if you are very lucky you might find one in here or in a second hand shop or like me in a charity shop,...........
