This is a scholarly work, not of the first order, but nonetheless a useful aid in understanding the man and the art that he produced. It benefits from an introduction by Diana Holman-Hunt (unlikely in the case of a fictional account)and presents a full and interesting account of the relationships between members and associates of the Brotherhood as they moved on in life. Ms Amor has a firm grasp of the subject and has certainly contributed to our understanding of this enigmatic and difficult man.
